They stay on forever, unless you don't login to your account for 30 days, then they will be deleted.

30 days!!! why not 90 days? or maybe 60

I'ld lose a lot stuff, as I don't always check-in to every site I belong to on the net once a month! lol

I usaually devote like a few or more months to current sites I'm into at any given moment throughout the year . . .

everything in my files here are used in various sites and forums - so, if people click on a file or image does that count like a login?

or is there another 'option' to keep files active?

particularly if my 'Total Bandwdith Usage' is pretty low

I could see deleting non-active accounts or files if someone is totally maxed out!

But I think it would be nice to give those not using very much space here a little slack before you delete stuff!

I really like uploadingit - but I can't guarantee I'll always be able to login once every 30 days - 60 days probably - 90 for sure!

30 days is fine. If you are at your computer often you can take a little time out to download your files to keep them active.

I'm always logged in. It's to make sure my files stay on there forever as long as I choose to do so.
